Captain Stephens was the captain of a small vessel that ferried Varrockian explorer Samuel Scourduel to Karamja from Port Lina 212 years ago, only 43 years before the beginning of the Fifth Age. Stephens, upon arriving in Karamja, was mutinied by his crew, who forced him to walk the plank into shark-infested waters, where he met his death. He is mentioned in entry two of The Excellent Log of the Journeys and Tribulations of Samuel Scourduel.
