The Sable Quean is the 21st novel in the Redwall series, published on February 23, 2010. This is the first Redwall novel illustrated by Sean Rubin. It is also the only book in the series to be divided into four books instead of three. As explained by Brian Jacques, a "quean" is an old English term for "wicked lady."
