an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

Shroud-crime referred to the act of penetrating the mental shrouding of another Sa'ari without the victim's permission. A brutal act that required intense force of will, such an attack often resulted in the victim's death, with survivors suffering from severe emotional shock and oftentimes deep psychological scarring. The commission of shroud-crime left evidence on the dead as well as the living; while those fortunate enough to live through an act of shroud-crime could identify their attacker through "the Blue," traces of the offender's own psyche would almost always be left upon the bodies of those who died.
