Soltoxin was a highly lethal chemical weapon created by the Barrayaran Imperial Service. During Vordarian's Pretendership, Aral Vorkosigan was attacked by a soltoxin gas grenade. He and his wife Cordelia Vorkosigan recovered, but Miles Vorkosigan was harmed by it and by the antidote, which had serious teratogenic properties.
