The Tomahawk was originally part of the Sixth Fleet. She participated in the defense of Canceron during the Fall and was one of four ships of the Sixth Fleet to survive the inital Cylon attack. Sometime after the destruction of the Twelve Colonies, the Tomahawk joined the defense fleet of the last known refuge of humanity, the Copernicus Colony.
