The S5528LW features a mahogany body with a limba wood top and binding and a titanium reinforced maple and wenge Ultra-8 neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with off-set dot inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a fixed bridge and locking tuners. Similar six-string (S5521Q) and seven-string (S5527QFX) models were produced, both with quilted maple tops.
