The Breadbug is an enemy from the Pikmin series. Breadbugs appear in the first two games. In Pikmin one is in the Forest Navel, carrying a ship part. In both games they can be killed in two ways. The Pikmin can carry something to their onion with the Breadbug grabbing on to it, then once the onion takes the object, the Breadbug will smack it's head on the onion and receive damage. Captain Olimar can also throw Pikmin on its back. In Pikmin 2, they can only be found underground, and one Breadbug appears in 1 stage in the first Pikmin. It is a part of the Breadbug family .
