Avrel is a teller and travels with Kailar and Ingavar/David during the events of The Fire Eternal. He disapears to the Fain world along with other bears and learns to imagenear and teaches the other bears in Dark Fire. In The FIre Ascending he leads the other bears into battle with darklings. This leads to Kailars death.
