The Northern Challenge Cup is an annual cup contest for teams competing in the Northern Premier League. All of the teams in the following leagues are allowed to enter: * Northern Premier League Premier Division * Northern Premier League Division One North * Northern Premier League Division One South The Cup runs a single knockout system, where each tie is to an end. In the 2007–08 season Premier Division side Eastwood Town beat Skelmersdale United 3-0. The 2008–09 competition was won by Guiseley, who beat Ilkeston Town 3-2.
