an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

Even in ancient times worlds existed in the no-mans-land between the space occupied by the Black Star Confederacy and the Kartanin Dominion. Once first contact was made, more settlements slowly started to form along the trade routes and further out - by dissenters and exiles for the most part. It soon became a crime-ridden frontier, riddled with religious zealots, criminal gangs, pirates, smugglers, shadowports and planetside townships. Due to regular fighting and bloodshed in the sector, these planets soon came to be known as Blood Worlds.
