Sarutobi Sasuke was a legendary ninja warrior of the Kōka-ryū school, who later became a leader of the Sanada Ten Braves, who fought for Sanada Yukimura in the Japanese Civil War. Raised by monkeys, Sarutobi had monkey-like agility when moving through trees. Kirigakure Saizō was his arch-rival and later, his best friend. Sarutobi is said to have died in battle against Tokugawa Ieyasu's forces around 1615.
