Ample Annie is a stripper, who fell in love with, and married, informant Nugart Neville Lamont in 1985. Their ceremony was a semi-striptease event, with Annie taking off her wedding dress. Later in 1985 Annie was working at the Shelbourne Hotel with Dorothy Bain, a single mother who was fired for spilling drinks on guests and bringing her baby to work. Later Annie served as cover for Bain, buying baby food and caring for her son while she hid from the agents of mobsters Johnny Cannata and Frank Doss trying to recover tally sheets she took to use as lining for her baby in her bag.
