Kutlass was a shipmate of Kaptain Skurvy and recurring character on the Donkey Kong Country animated series. Despite Kutlass being Kaptain Skurvy's minion, he did not appear as much as his captain on the show. In the episodes Kutlass did appear in, he was usually scheming and making plans to steal the Crystal Coconut with Skurvy and his shipmate Green Kroc. Kutlass is thought by some to be Skurvy's counterpart to King K. Rool's bodyguard, Krusha.
