The 2017 Pacific Hurricane Season was the annual event in which Tropical Cyclones formed in the East Pacific, East of 180 degrees in the western hemisphere. The season featured average activity despite a weak La Nina, with 18 named storms, 8 Hurricanes, and only 2 Major Hurricanes. The Season started in Mid-January with the formation of a Un-named Tropical Storm in the Central Pacific, and ends in Early December with the dissipation of Tropical Storm Otis.
