Northbridge, also called Kitahashi, was the capital city of Kibou-daini; it was more than 30 kilometers across. Graffiti on bridges and other structures in the city sometimes said "Burn the dead", a reference to the large number of cryogenically-stored people beneath the city. The Northbridge Invitational Conference on Cryonics was held in the city.
