Albert Bristow is the owner of the Café mald'amour & an acquaintance of Bram's in the past, a rival with Boyd in who can lose the most weight in 1895. He owns a Golden Retriever, a puppy in 1896 & a fully grown dog in the present. He is the first few to know that Scott is Bram's descendant. Albert & Bram do not get along, although his dog took an instant liking to the violinist. Albert was also a fan of the popular at the time song group in Scotland. In the aftermath of the final battle, while his dog was staying at a vet, Albert took in a black Pug named Tiny.
