As Etrian Odyssey is a dungeon crawling RPG, in which you create your own party to journey into the labyrinth with, there is a multitude of classes for the player to pick from. These classes vary from classic RPG archetypes, such as the healer (Medic and Monk), to classes with no precedent (e.g. Farmer). Etrian Odyssey II brings back all the classes of the previous game: * Alchemist * Dark Hunter * Landsknecht * Survivalist * Troubadour * Medic * Ronin * Hexer * Protector And also introduces three new classes: * Gunner * War Magus * Beast
