The Marauder Octobot is an enemy in EarthBound. It appears in southern Scaraba, in the desert. Its attacks include firing a beam, stealing an item, or coiling around a party member and attacking, which immoblizes the target. It's weak to PSI Fire and PSI Freeze (to a lesser extent), and is resistant to many other PSI attacks, including PSI Flash or Hypnosis. It leaves $499, but no items.
