Ernest is a mysterious zoologist in the game Shadow Hearts: Covenant. He is the organizer behind the Wolf Bouts that the hero Blanca must participate in to level his abilities. He is accompanied by his faithful companion Tetsu, a young wolf who he has been training for the competition. Though the Wolf-Bouts are portrayed as a harmless game at first to level up Blanca's abilities they very quickly take on a sinister nature.
