Tora first used this against Haifeiru, but the beast dodged it, resulting in only a gash on his cheek. He tried again, against transformed beast, in an attempt to cut off his tail, but Haifeiru managed to dodge it. Later, during the battle with the creature, Tora was able to slice off it's tail while he was in his Resurrection form as well as let loose several Kienzans at once. Later he was able to throw a version that splits apart and attacks the target from multiple angles. The Kienzan cannot be stopped at all (can only be dodged).
