Eda Bell (AE-dah) is the Shang Wildcat, currently in resident at the palace. She trains the pages in hand-to-hand combat with the help of Hakuin Seastone, the Shang Horse. She is a formidable warrior who teaches Keladry of Mindelan extra exercises to help her strengthen the muscles in her arms and thus to keep up with the boys.
