Universal security droids were a type of security droid designed to handle any security situation. The model was equipped with a device capable of shutting down any form of weaponry, as well as a strong magnetic field generator or disarming opponents. The droids carried stub batons and stub blaster rifles, and they had dart guns, capable of temporarily severing an individual's connection to the Force, installed in their chests.
