Alenthyl was founded by Saint-King Alen, who established the Holy Church of Alenthyl, which worshipped the Light as an ethereal, omnipotent being. As the kingdom expanded, older Kingdoms were conquered. After Alenthyl fell to a Volvarian broadwing; its offspring spread about the land and killed any who stayed. The people of Alenton retreated underground and established an underground city. For many years they struggled to survive and lived harshly. When King Avan eventually lead the assault on the Dragon threat and reclaimed Alenton, the people of Alenthyl followed.
