This Tel'tak was first used by Selmak/Jacob Carter to infiltrate the Goa'uld occupied world P2C-257 and detonate a weapon's grade shipment of Naquadah that would have vaporized a sizable chunk of the planet. Just before detonation, he spotted Major Samantha Carter and Dr. Daniel Jackson come through the Stargate and ringed them aboard. They requested his help in rescuing Colonel Jack O'Neill and Teal'c from the X-301 Interceptor. On the way to Earth, the hyperdrive broke down due to it being overtaxed. After repairs and avoiding Goa'uld forces, they make it to the Solar system and wake up Jack and Teal'c. After they eject from the X-301, Jacob rings them aboard and they return to Earth.
