This particular Sith holocron was in the posession of the mysterious Sith in 17 ABY. He was already the owner of the holocron by the time he had visisted Nar Shaddaa and acquired the Bloody Hammer. The origins and history of this holocron remain unknown, as the Sith Lord refused to endulge the curious, but it was clear that he did not create it, and it was assumed that the many hours he spent sealed in his private chambers onboard the Bloody Hammer were favored to studying it and learning of its secrets.
