Robo Rider (spelled sometimes as Roborider, and localized as Shadow Moon in Japan) is actually Dex's best friend named Donais from the planet Edonoi. Once Dregon found out that Donais was heading to earth to give Dex the powers of Super Gold he kidnapped him and used his own Crystal to transform Donais into Robo Rider.
