In 2367, Vor'cha, along with IKS Vorn and IKS Buruk, met with the USS Enterprise-D to request the assistance of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who K'mpec would ask to be arbiter of succession. K'mpec died, poisoned by veridium 6, aboard the Vor'cha days later. (TNG episode: "Reunion") Both canon and the Premiere CCG edition identify the Vor'cha as an attack cruiser. Later, for the Decipher RPG supplement Starships, it was also referred to the type as "battle cruiser".
