Stavan was a male officer under the command of Admiral Galak Fyyar of the Empire Reborn, a faction of the Imperial Remnant. Holding a rank of commander, he was stationed in an outpost located on the planet Kejim around 12 ABY. During that year, around the time a New Republic agent named Kyle Katarn was investigating the outpost, Admiral Fyyar made a transmission to the outpost, in which he expressed disappointment with Stavan's performance and instructed that Stavan be removed from command and reassigned.
