Ken Elegin was a Jedi Master for the New Jedi Order following the conflict with the Lost Tribe of Sith. Although he had been training for years as a Jedi, he had only recently gained the respect of his fellow Jedi and been given the title of Jedi Master. He was a friend of Tash and Zak Arranda and had once shared a mutual attraction with Tash that ended when he left her to fight against the Yevetha during the Yevethan Purge.
