Mrs. Goose is the teacher at Storybook Community School on Sesame Street. She first appeared in a 2005 episode to welcome Baby Bear to his first day of school, and she returned in a 2006 episode as Abby Cadabby joined the student body. A kindly woman, Mrs. Goose is a representation of the nursery rhyme character Mother Goose.
