Rust Squadron was a Rebel Alliance starfighter unit led by Dorrian Vodani and stationed at the Arda I Rebel base. The name started as a joke but was adopted by the pilots. It was in operation by the time of the Battle of the Gauntlet in 0 ABY, and conducted patrols and escort missions in the Gordian Reach sector. The squadron fought in the Battle of the Gauntlet, but during the evacuation had to remain aboard the transports as they lacked hyperdrives.
