The Lowland akalat (Sheppardia cyornithopsis), is a species of akalat in the Muscicapidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
