The Bastables were a fictional family of six children: Dora, Oswald, Dicky, Alice, Noel and Horace Octavius (H. O.) Bastable who appeared in the book, The Story of the Treasure Seekers. They attempted to regain the lost fortunes of their family in 1899 while living at 150 Lewisham Road, London. They were briefly mentioned at the beginning of the first chapter of The Magician's Nephew.
