Cathedral Guardians are arcana in the shape of lizardmen or dragons, found exclusively in the Cathedral vaults in Metropolis. They are passive at first and will only take 1 point of damage from any kinetic attack (blunt, slashing, piercing, tearing) in that form. After awhile, they switch to active mode, becoming more vulnerable, but also gaining the ability to attack the player. They are armed with a gas sprayer in the "mouth" which is armed with slowing and stunning gas. They can also use the unstable ground of the catacombs to their advantage, breaking it and sending the player to a lower floor.
