Dr. Floyd Charles is a fictional character in the Left Behind series, by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Prior to the Rapture, Floyd practiced medicine, primarily in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was married to a woman who was among those who vanished. While he is described as never having been a religious man, his daughter's death in a bus accident on her very first day of school is said to have pushed him further from faith.
