R4-series astromech droids were a series of astromech droids. Some R4 units were owned by the Jedi Order for use on Delta-7 Jedi starfighters. One of these R4 units accompanied Jedi Master Mace Windy when he was investigating a clone army created in secret for the Galactic Republic on Kamino.
