Nale (1162 - 1184) was the evil twin brother of Elan (his name is also "Elan" spelled backwards), and the founder and leader of the Linear Guild. He created his team to be "evil opposites" of the Order of the Stick, and was bent on the humiliation and destruction of Elan and his group. He was killed by his father, Tarquin in revenge for murdering his vampire companion Malack who was planning to kill Nale for slaying his "children". His remains were then disintegrated by Laurin Shattersmith and dispersed in the desert.
