Majut was a Cardassian officer who served as second-in-command aboard Gul Jasad's Galor-class cruiser in 2369. Majut presented Jasad with the results of their sensor scans of Deep Space 9, which showed extensive armaments. When Jasad expressed his belief that it was a bluff, Majut suggested waiting for the Cardassian Fourth Order instead of risking a confrontation at the time. (DS9 episode & novelization: Emissary) The character was unnamed in his sole onscreen appearance. The novelization gives his name as Majut, whereas the Customizable Card Game names him Jural.
