German was a West Germanic language from Earth, thus related to and classified alongside English and Dutch. It was the official language of the Andermani Empire. The Imperial Andermani Navy used German ranks like "Fregattenkapitän" (meaning frigate captain, equivalent to an RMN Captain (JG)) and "Großadmiral" (Grand Admiral).
