Iron Banshee was the name Malachi MacDougall gave his claymore. A sturdy, double-pawed weapon, she was about 4.5 feet long with a straight, double-edged blade. He crafted her himself in the fires of Salamandastron with the help of Lady Marika Sunstripe. What set the Banshee apart from other claymores were the twin sets of otter runes up and down the blade that read Malachi's personal mottos, Justicia quod veneratio (Justice and honor) and Tutor verum (defender of truth).
