The SS Esperanto was a Federation supply ship in operation in the 24th century. Following the overthrow of Prime Minister Kinchawn of Tezwa in 2379, the Esperanto was assigned to regular supply runs to and from Tezwa. In early 2381, in the aftermath of the Borg Invasion, the Esperanto was recalled and reassigned to Andor. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
