Part of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, Delta Platoon was transported to Raccoon City on the September 26. The Platoon was dropped off at Area E95070 by Chopper Delta. Shortly after being dropped off, the Platoon faced heavy casualties and the survivors were cut off from each other. Mikhail managed to slow down the creature with his assault rifle, but after being thrown out of the way against the wall, he had no choice but to sacrifice himself with a grenade.
