The Mountains located in or near Gotham City is where Maximus Mole used his walk water to bring to life a bunch of rocks. Superman once saw Maximus up in the mountains, noticing he was wearing mountain-climbing gear, and he dismisses it as being suspicious, due to the fact that Max Mole actually was climbing in The Mountains.
