An astronomer who observed that the envelopment of the Dyson Pair was almost simultaneous, prompting the Second Chance mission that led to the Starflyer War. He was captured and killed by the Prime MorningLightMountain, but before he was killed he transferred his memories to a Prime motile, which subsequently allied with the Commonwealth. He was also re-lifed, and hence there were essentially two Dudley Bose personalities in existence. They met each other when the people of the Commonwealth who believed in the existence of the Starflyer met in the compound of Nigel Sheldon. The re-lifed Dudley Bose was the lover of Mellanie Rescorai until that meeting, when he decided to end their relationship.
