The Blitz, 1940 was the first track on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe soundtrack. It was written and composed by Harry Gregson-Williams and performed by the Los Angeles Recording Arts Orchestra for the film The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. In the film, it plays while London is being bombed by Nazi aircraft. It had a running time of about two minutes and thirty-two seconds.
