After witnessing the Zed Monkeys let The Yob get away during said Hero Hour, Sonic the Hedgehog visited the school to tackle Professor Zed. The mentor was busy training two young heroes when Sonic crashed through the door. The Zed Monkeys soon caught up and engaged Sonic in battle, but Sonic used a speed vortex to expose Madmeano and his padded suit. Upon leaving the school and overseeing the police arrest Madmeano, Sonic was told by the school's new owners that they would now observe "Agony Hour".
