The RGIF7 is a multi scale model featuring fanned frets with a 27" (686mm) scale length at the seventh string and a 25.5" (628mm) scale length at the first string. The equalized string tension this design allows contributes to a more "alive" tone while the fanned fret layout provides an ergonomic platform for the player's hand as it moves up and down the neck facilitating speed and comfort. The RGIF8 is a similar eight-string model. The RGIM7MH is a similar model with a mahogany body.
