A Ship's Operating License was a certification issued by the Bureau of Ships and Services. It tracked the ship's make, manufacturer, port of origin, transponder code, and owner of the ship. It cost 1000 credits to receive. To get one for a ship, it required the pilot to have a Captain's Accredited License and the ship had to pass an inspection.
