He was trained in sword fighting by the finest swordsmen in Europe. He also sings showtunes horribly, causing much of Captain Courage's (character based on Al) crew to commit suicide. He is the defacto Pirate King and fights a sword duel with Captain Courage, but loses when he is kneed in the groin. Rubio the Cruel appears in the Season 7 MWC episode "Peggy and the Pirates".
