Jimmy Bane was a man who was conned out of $700,000 by Anthony Cooper. After Anthony's funeral, Jimmy and his associate came to the suspicion that Cooper may still be alive, and visited Locke and Helen at their home to confirm this. He was, however, disappointed to discover that John's bag did not contain the cash from the safe deposit box at the bank, but rather work papers just as he had said.
